Antique Sewing Machine Question

Hello,

My grandmother gave me her antique sewing machine a Kenmore 117141. Do any of you have one of these? Are they valuable? Just curious, I am wondering if I should keep it or not. I have looked around some antique sewing sites and haven't found much information on it. Thank you for your help :).

Unfortunately, Kenmore's do not hold any value. You might get $10 or $20 for it. There's a Kenmore group over at Yahoo groups. You might try asking there. I could be wrong.

I have an antique Singer treadle sewing machine, but the actual machine is small in size than a regular sewing machine. Just wondering why it's smaller. Were there smaller versions built for children perhaps?

It's the vintage machines forum and there is a wealth of info there. You might want to post a pix of it. Do you think your machine is a Featherweight that has been mounted in the treadle cabinet?
