We are building a house & when it comes to arranging the furniture, I am a bit stumped. In the great room (approx. 18 x 24) there are a few focal points & purposes to the room. First off, there is beautiful eastern facing river frontage, then, there is cabinetry and shelving to house a television and artifacts, also, facing east. To the western side of the room is a wood burning stove, suitable to cozy up the room and provide another seating area. With so much going on, yet most of the time it will be just my husband and me living here, do you have any pointers or suggestions on how to lay the room out?
