Any Advice?

Hello, I am new to this forum. I recently got my grandma's Montgomery Ward sewing machine, it's in great working order, but I think I am loading the bobbin wrong! It keeps wading up underneath, I used the machine when I was younger, and I am trying to do it from memory!

If anyone has any advice please let me know, I don't have an instruction manual....

Is your bobbin a drop in from the top,or a side loading one???

Make sure you have the bobbin thread going thru all the tensions it's supposed to go thru.Also make sure you have the needle threaded correctly.You might even want to change the needle if you havn't already.

Take the top thread completely out. Re-thread the machine, making sure that the presser foot is up while you do it. If the presser foot is not up when you thread, the thread may not be seating correctly inside the tensioning discs.

Most machines want the bobbins inserted so that the thread is coming off the bobbin clockwise. If this doesn't work, try replacing the bobbin so that the thread is coming off the bobbin counter-clockwise.
