oh wow, I love it, it's like a Mandala chair, so very cool! are you going to resin the top to make it scratch proof or is it view only? :D

    Thank you all so much...

Ladyronnie you made my day by telling me its your background on your computer!!! Thats a great compliment!!!

eklypz- It is going to be for display only so after I paint it it will sit somewhere and look pretty!!!

Panther, Hazie,Bama,Crackpot I plan on painting it black. Hubby wants me to use a stain which I think might be easier. I do have two more chairs (at the MIL house) but they arent the same kind as this one. There is one that definitely cries out shabby chic..which I've never done!!!

Nice, Bianchi- No crown for me thats for sure..I'll leave that for Slow but thank you so much for making me feel like royalty!!!!

Hazie- Did ya see me bow?!!!

Cindiloo- Funny thing about patience, I dont really have any, only with mosaics and stained glass!!!

I am so glad I got all the grouting done without to much mishap. Oh and I even started my Spring ball last night!!!

The mirrors are just beautiful on the chair. This is such an inspiration for me to try to find a chair.

I keep coming back to look over and over... this may be my new favorite of all time! It's just STUNNING

I can't wait to see it painted... I love it

Chickee, this is just great! Do you keep going back to look at it? Is DH pleased with what you've done to his family chair? I know the circles were tedious, but WOW! It was worth it!

    Wow, another inspriational piece... lovely!!!

Gossh you guys are giving me a big head!!! I like it though!!! Its nice to do something out of your comfort zone and have it turn out great.

Hubby really likes it..he even took pictures of it on his phone so he could show the guys at work!! That made me feel really good!!!

I still have yet to get the stain, paint or whatever I use to make it black (hubby thinks stain would be easiest) but will post a pic of it when it is done.

It is sitting in my living room and the fire light from the wood stove is flickering on it and really makes it shine!!!

I even sat on it today and it really wasnt uncomfortable with those glass globs at all!!!

it is just EXTRAORDINARY... you should be very proud!

    Wow,that's just beautiful!

I LOVE it! The colors, the design, everything, it's PERFECT!! A beautiful piece of furniture.

That is amazing. Between the BBs and all those little circles you did ,you must have a ton of patience...or motivation!!

It's really beautiful ! Great detail work!

I showed this to my DH and Colleen. She asked how long it took you to do this so I went searching through the posts and had to go to page 12 to find it. You first posted about this on December 21st. Can you believe how fast the pages are flying by lately? It is so hard to keep up on reading all the posts, let alone commenting on them! Colleen did say you are NUTS for grinding those pieces so small!!! She also said it looks awesome!

Yeah Im a little nuts I have to agree. But I do enjoy making the shapes I want even if it takes freakin FOREVER!!!!! Over all I have about a week into it. It just took me that long (the span from Dec to Jan) to get it done cause of time restraints.

Im glad you guys liked it!!!!

Oh my, now that is nice!

The picture is still loading for me (dial-up, ugh!)
so I'll scroll back up to admire some more.

Just wanted to pass on my compliments.

I can't see that one ending up in a yard sale any
    time soon. Very nice!
