That frame just sets it off beautifully. Looks great. I can't give you advise on the selling prices though.

WOW! Does the painted frame and grout ever complete this! Good job! I too wanna sell some stuff but don't know what to price. I'm gonna hang my little Garden Art sign at the end of the driveway and see who stops. I rural so it would only be my neighbors but I gotta start somewhere. So I better start thinkin' of prices!!! I gotta look around and do like you are suggesting. I did it once but they wanted 30% and it didn't make it worth it for me.

WOW! That old cupboard door has magically turned in to a perfect frame! Great color choice on it and the grout....looks really good! I wouldn't even begin to know how to price art. My only suggestion is to be sure and sign your art.

I have sold some stuff in a little store, that had everything from groceries to some smaller art pieces. But they closed, hope it wasnt my fault. Anyway, I think I priced things too low, someone told me. The owner only took 20%, so that worked out. But still dont price your mosaics too low, you're all artists.

Oh, how very beautiful. I, too, love the rusticity of old stuff to frame my work. Truly artistic - great job - price it high! You can always negotiate down, but not up.

Thank You everyone! Its size is 2 1/2ft X 2 1/2ft. I am starting a phoenix now that is going to be 5X5. I dont want to get to far w/it until I get my pistol grip cutters. Id like to try out those beautifully exact cuts you get. (like I said before) cant really get that clean look w/nippers and a hammer!

My child, your work looks like it has the advantage of all the super tools. I can't believe you get this kind of results w/the ones you mention. Oh, just think what's in store for our eyes, if you get the fancy tools.

That does look great! Most of the time you charge 3 times what you put in to it .And then your time because some of us do not pay much for our things .

Really turned out great,I would say put $90 on it,I don't feel we get paid for time....i priced my cross's at $75 and was told they were too low,should have put $90 but I was afraid so try it and see what happens,then next time you'll get a feel about going up or down. It's beautiful and with no tools your really good.

Pricing is worse than grouting for me......hate it.....don't want to give it away and don't want to over-price! The only place I sell is at local gallery, and she takes 35%....but somehow it ends up more than that? You need to try and figure your costs......which I am bad about writing down as I go, but really need to.......if I would charge for my time...I wouldn't sell a thing.....Also, if I lived in a city instead of this small area, I could possibly get more for than what I ask......some people charge by the measurements plus what they have in the piece? I dunno...

I have also thought about having a "spring sale" or "fall sale," and have other artist bring their "goods!" A one day thing.........also have thought about doing what Jane is doing...put a sign out by the road and see what happens......just maybe on a Saturday...as I work during the week.......to earn money for my disease.......but I never have that much made up at once....? Dreaming.

Didn't realize it was so big,MORE than$90 then ....try 150.00 and see how people react,if you go to cheap they won't know what an artist you are I am told by a pro.

Thank You all for the great advice. I dont want to give it away but I do want people to buy! A welder I know saw this and asked me if I wanted to do a project with him. He makes great tables, chairs and counter tops. We are going to start w/a side table. He will make the bottom with an edge that my piece is set into w/glass on top! I will post pics as soon as we get rolling! In the meantime I have to go glue so I can have more than two mosaics to show in the summer!!!

Beautiful job, especially since you didn't use any fancy tools to cut your glass! Sorry I can't help with pricing, I can never decide what to charge for my own stuff! I look forward to seeing your table WIP pictures!
