West window

Dear windows expert, I desperately need your help. We are going to build our house in NC. Our contractor recommend us kolbe, anderson and west window for double hung.
I read a lot about anderson, some of kolbe but non of west windows ( I might missed it ). Any idea/comment about west windows? Which one is the better choice among those three??? Thank you

Are you looking at wood or vinyl? Kolbe and Andersen both have nice wood offerings (I prefer Kolbe or Marvin), but neither are known for their vinyl products. I'm not familiar with West, but from what I can see, they only offer vinyl or aluminum. I'd be interested to see the performance ratings on the West product, but generally my own preference would be a proven performer like Okna, Sunrise, or Softlite among others.
