Oh man!! I love the interlocking circles. I think it turned out great. Sorry about the glue problem. I know thats frustrating with all the work you've put into it.

Thanks, BAMA. I got the interlocking circle idea from someone's album in here recently, don't remember whose. The indirect WAS good in that I really had to move things around a lot to get it to look right, had to turn my contact paper over several times to check and then redo. Next time I'd DRAW my circles so they were round to start with! Definitely an education in this one!

RONNIE: Those interlocking circle patterns are so wonderful! Everyone seems to be perfecting theirs and I haven't even attempted one. Beautiful colors combo on this piece. Great job!

Thanks again. It's the weirdest thing. I have gone all the way around the table several times at different times, and so far have only had about seven globs to come off, the rest seem to be stuck good now. The seven were not all together either. Strange, and thankful!

Ronnie I love your little table. I like the way you twined your plates together and wish I had done mine that way too. Live and learn. Always room for improvement. I have another project I want to do with plates and am going to try it your way this time.

CHRIS: I'd recommend drawing it out on paper, and figuring out where you want them to cross. Next time, I would make it so #1 crossed over #2, #2 crossed over #3, and #3 crossed over #1. The design would be even nicer then. Not having them drawn out, I moved the pieces a LOT to get it round, and to get the overlap at all. Have fun!

If that's a learning project then sign me up for school! That is wonderful!

I'm doing my first table right now and am struggling a bit, but it's coming along. I used plates, but also wanted to use stained glass so to get the thickness for them I'm using clear/white pieces then gluing them to the colored stain glass cut the same way, then placing them on the table. Think it will work? I've got all my pieces cut - just have to do the double gluing now.
