I vote gorilla glue or epoxy. Silicone is used as a mold product for crete casting so I think I'd not trust it

Thanks, NT. So would you not use GE II to glue the glass on either? Should I use thinset? Yes, I am thinking thinset, except that eliminates my plan to white spraypaint the whole thing first for more reflection...What do you think?

yep I'd go thinset too. just use the white type for reflective

well, now I need to know about thinset..
I read it all the time on here and if someone is willing, would you post a picture of the container or tube it comes in?
I'm going to have to go to the building supply store and grab a bunch of it..
I have a line of things to work on and keep putting it off, for not being sure what exactly to use for application..

Liquid Nails outdoor carpet glue?

Between BAMA's and SLOW's posts, I used the gorilla glue and stuck that baby down. Hope it holds! I knew about the expansion issue, so kept my blobs toward the middle of the boot, still had to cut some off the outside with a razor blade when it was done. I bought WHITE thinset tonight so I can start sticking glass on this thing now, yaaaaay! Back to the other thread....

Becky, thinset comes in 25 pound bags. It comes in either gray or white. Make sure you get polymer fortified thinset. You mix it with water. I use 1 part water to 3-4 parts thinset mix. I got Flexbond fortified thinset mortar at Home Depot.
