hey which set got chosen for the auction?

Soooo beautiful and elegant. What sizes are these? I've seen these in garden centers, and also in HobLob, but never thought of mosaicing them. Just wonderful work - so neat, and the tiles on the first one look so perfectly nipped.

Yummy looking! I love how you nip your floral design apart and then put it back together so it flows so well - can't seem to do that. Great finishing touches too...

These are beautiful! Love the strawberry one especially (we grow acres of them :) The butterfly is perfect!

Thanks,Slow they are 14" tall amd 22 " around,I don't remember where I found them,cheap on sale in a garden center I think,easy work!!LOL!Nice they chose the blue set for the Auction,it will go to houston for Nov 4th Auction.I need an idea on what to put on the 4 piece set...ideas anyone? I think they will get more as a set.Help???

Annie, your finials are beautiful! A Tiffany butterfly?! That's my favorite.

Let us know the outcome of the auction. Your items are bound to bring a good amount. I would say the birdbath is a minimum $400. Depending on the quality of china, maybe lots more. After just finishing a concrete birdbath, I don't think I would sell one for less than that. I had $150 just in costs alone (glass, concrete substrate, etc). The finial comes close to that too.

Those are absolutely gorgeous!! I know nothing about pricing, but those are worthe every penny ;-)

Thanks for the advice,my large BB I have sold for 650-450 but since this is a mini not sure.I think if they go for the 750 Nice suggested I would be happy with that.The snail has more work in it than anything because they are tiny pieces even tho they show up bigger in picture ,they are like1/4 " sq's .We all need to live in Calif. BB go for 2000 there LOL.Just did this for my little GD anyway so she'll be happy no matter what they go for.

Stupid question time...I've never seen these...they are FABULOUS! I must get out more...what are they for? Garden decor?

mmqchdygg...They are just for decoration I think...no practical use,finials just happen to be pretty hot right now.I would sit on a table or a shelf on the porch mixed in wtih plants etc.,or up on a kitchen cabinet,anywhere I suppose...they are terracotta based. I know about the pricing it's hard..but I do know if you underprice thats what they will want to pay so I'll go high and hope for the best,and 4 pieces is a lot to get in one lot I think.

These are absolutely more exquisite than any of the 'plain' ones that I see online, but some thoughts might be to go to Nextag.com and compare retail prices for the plain ones, or go to eBay and look at closed auctions to see what people are willing to pay (include shipping in your cost).

Then figure in the cost of your materials, and your labor at say $25-30/hr or even higher, cuz you do EXCELLENT work, and true art is NOT cheap.

So, do you have a garden shop that you sell your items?

Nope I live in a little texas town and don't have a shop.i've done a couple of shows but here the show where I did the best charges 1200 for a booth...gotta sell a lot to do that.Mostly word of mouth.But to be honest most of my things are given away to family and friends.If younger I would go out of the Valley to sell but at almost 70 I'm just thrilled to have this hobby LOL!!!

oh, annie...I absolutely LOVE your finials. They are all absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to find some of those. You did your usual PROFESSIONAL job on these. WOW. And your new "sets" are absolutely incredible. Fantastic Work!!
