I don't have a working cd in my hard drive.

I know NT. One day I was gone all day ( like 8 am - 11:30 pm) and the last post I had read that morning (I ALWAYS check in even if I have to be gone all day)was at the BOTTOM of the first page!!

does anyone use the "clipping" feature and will it stay in your clippings once it falls off the 67th page?
How many clipped posts can be saved... I'm wondering about doing my own archives of favorites.

I just clipped Slow's heartshelf because that's going out soon...

You can only store 50 clippings. I guess we all better go through the old threads and start clipping!

I know it's frustrating to see things drop off the last page, but they are still in the archive apparently. I just typed "05" (without the quotes) and got 466 matches. The first few were from the conversations side, the rest were like our posts now.

That being said, I wish I KNEW how to save them to CD! Computer savy I'm not.....the directions are always written in some "foreign-to-me" language! I do clip (when I remember to and/or do it RIGHT!!), but would LOVE to have the info indefinitely.

They don't offer us a gallery on this forum.....maybe we need to push for that. I love how everything, questions, and pics are on the same page, but we are losing stuff

Shrty mentioned the Conversations side - I've also been thinking lately that it might be good if we encouraged use of the CONVERSATIONS side a little more? I was very hesitant to say anything, and I'd hate to make people feel paranoid about posting, but I also hate it that we're losing some great history here. There's such great information, and wonderful project descriptions and pictures. We don't want to lose it. If we use the CONVERSATIONS side, too - we could still post everything we wanted to, and leave more room on THIS side.

Pretty much. For every new post, an old one drops off.
It sounds like they are archived, but you'd need to know
what exact post you were looking for. It didn't take us long to get to 67 pages. Lately we are going through almost a page a day.

I don't understand how these forums work. WHO do we contact for gallery space???? Do we all need to sign a petition, e-mail the moderator, or WHAT?

I'm fairly sure that Ivilliage does these forums in a rather hands off mentality. We can try to contact them but they's never responded before.

Went digging for this post. I keep thinking about all the lost forever posts. Did any one figure out a way to save the posts that are being pushed off the end pages with so many other new posts? Do you think we should post some of our mosaic projects on the conversation side so we do not loose them?? LOL We could always talk about some thing OFF mosaic topc in conversations and just happen to post pictures of our works there?? Ya think??
