Trying to restain bookcases in my living room which connect to my kitchen cabinets that I was goin to do also but the bookcases aren't looking so good and now I wished I had listen to my husband. Using GF gel stain, mixing dark walnut and Georgian cherry together. Read on internet where people were using this product without sanding first and that's what I tried and now I have bookcases that are really blotchy looking black in some areas. Any help of how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated!!!
