I'm lovin' that backsplash, wish I had gotten a little bold with mine, opted for plain old tile...how boring! Did go with some wild paint for the walls however. Beautiful scenery too.

OH, MM - this truly is a wonderful mosaic. You're over the top on this one. I mean, to start out mosaicing and produce something so wonderful is mind-boggling. Take a VERY deep bow.

Beautiful snow scene as I sit in my daughter's air conditioned south Florida home with temperature outside at 75 (8 PM).

Really like them, lots of color. And that blue sky is cool.

You are doing a wonderful job on your back splash. I am finding it very to believe this is your first mosaic try. Your kitchen is going to be just beautiful or more so when you get this up.

I DO understand that feeling of "Is this ever going to end?" I have felt that way a time or two on pieces I have worked on. And then when it gets so close to being done I do not want it to end. Sort of like reading a good book. Can't put it down don't want it to end.

Oh my goodness!!!! I too wish I would have been that brave... we are still doing our counters but with them half done I couldn't change it all now...mine is cobalt blue tile. I love your work!!! Dottie

Had to come look again, MM. I feel like SHADES on not wanting a good thing to end. I get such a let down after a successful project - uh - those are the ones I don't want to throw in the trash after smashing w/a hammer, and I feel a let down coming on today after grouting my cross. I've had a few successes recently that I'm happy with. I REALLY love your backsplash. Truly a traditional mosaic.

OMG- It's DONE!!! This is the last piece; finished it up this afternoon.
Now to grout this last piece, seal the other 4, mount, and touch-up and then really done!
All this by next Sunday cuz the outlaws finally decided that they DO want to have a party, and *I* got elected to host.
Cross fingers that I don't screw it up between now & then...
