Beautiful! I was told you cannot use Saltillo tiles in a showere. Is this made differently or I was mislead? Thank you!

You can if they are properly installed and sealed. You would also need consider recommended cleaning products and not harsh chemicals. The clients knew the pros and cons of saltillo vs. porcelain tile in this project. This guest bathroom was real saltillo but we used a porcelain look-alike in the utility and kids bathroom because they were higher traffic areas and porcelain is much easier to clean, install and won't crack.
