Funny, the Canadian site gave me more choices. I've been spending a lot of time looking at countertops so knew I had seen them in my travels.

Dawn, I am in the U.S. Thanks for the link. I've been all over the Home Depot site the last couple days but never did see those. Although, really, I need to buy the portable island/cart that I wanted to put this on, and some of those come with granite already on them, so maybe I'll just go that route. I was hoping to find something even more affordable than the above prices. I actually saw smallish rolling islands at Big Lots that had granite tops and they were only a few dollars more for the whole shebang than these slabs are.

We have a Home Emporium (seconds in building type place) in our area. I might go out there in the next day or two and poke around and see what they have.

Another place to try is a stone fabricator. They have lots of scraps piled all over the place. We did go to one but I found it too chaotic for me. We were quoted a very good price for a small bathroom counter top. You're limited to what scraps they have on hand but we saw quite a variety.
