Bathroom Tile help!!

The planning on this bathroom has entered the third or maybe fourth year. I'm so ready to get this project started that I think I'm losing focus on what I want.

1971 Ranch style home with mostly browns, tans, beige tones. Current master bath rocks some yellow shower tile with greenish/yellow formica and paint.

The shower is super closed in claustrophobic neo-angle that is getting demolished. In it's place will be a larger shower.

I've purchased 4x12 white subway tile for the shower walls.
The main bathroom floors will be a dark walnut wood look tile.

Cabinets will be white.

All light and bath fixtures will be chrome.

DH wants to keep it from looking sterile with the white subway and white cabinets by adding some colored mosaics in the shower and backsplash area.

I'm not really sold on a lot of color in more permanent areas like tile. I need to find something for the shower floor and accent areas. Possibly a wall of tile behind the makeup vanity area.

I found some blue/green/grey hexagon tiles that I thought would be great for the shower floor. They aren't super dark to show hard water spots nor are they light to show dirt.

In this picture they are the round ones and lean more grey. The ones I want are hex and lean more blue/green in my bathroom.

Do I use the same tiles on the shower floor for accents in the shower, backsplash and possibly vanity wall? Or do I pull in another tile?

The master bedroom will most likely have this material in it once I get more money save to update it.

Here's a picture of the tile and fabric together.

I'd really love some marble hex in the space but I know that I will use whatever cleaners necessary to clean the shower and don't want to ruin tiles.

A member on here suggested some beautiful tiles a couple years ago and they are still some of my favorite to date but they are really hard to find and out of my budget.

I think it's srg215's bathroom.

I don't want something that seems completely out of place with the rest of our home but I want out of the brown, tan, beige box.

Any input and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
