The colors work it just seems too busy. If you can find bigger tiles in the same color maybe?

Can only see a small piece of the kitchen. Looks like a lot is going on: granite with movement, sort of busy mid-century tile backsplash, but then looks like ornate French country sort of cabinets.

Think back splash should go and be replaced with something simple and classic.

I would put a backsplash with creamier tones that will accompany the granite better. By the looks of this picture, your granite looks like Giallo Ornamental...its hard to tell. In any case, a very nice granite! Go with creamier tones as the more prominent colour in the tile, with a few mid-tones to contrast some of the mid-tones in your granite. Glass tile would look great.

I forgot to add...choose tile that is more linear, as in a horizontal pattern vs. a geometric pattern like what is installed. Good luck! :)

Yes, I think you need to scrap what you've already got. It is too busy and doesn't go with your cabinets.

I agree to busy with granite. Go a solid subway. In a color from granite. If rooms has lots of light might try black. If not go lightest color you see. Get sample put by your granite and light.
