With your cabs, I like #2 & #4.... 4 a little more.
I haven't seen any difference between satin & brushed. It seems the name in unique to each brand.

Do you think I should stick to satin nickel or go with chrome?

What do people do when the pull style does not have large sizes that match for appliances? Just mix another style?

I have divinity color cabinets with a satin nickel pull so they are not shiny but not flat either, they kind of have a nice glow. Mine are from the HD Martha Stewart line and called bedford nickel

I like #2 and #4. I also considered #2 but ended up with a slightly different style (Revitalize, also from Amerock) because they carried the fridge pulls I needed. In our setup, with several cabinet pulls right next to the fridge pulls, I wanted them to match.

You mentioned that you want to add a bit of sparkle, so go with chrome or polished nickel. I've never seen a mixed-finish kitchen I thought looked bad!

Incidentally, there was a recent thread about someone being unhappy with the quality control on their Amerock pulls--they thought the finish application was not uniform. If you look closely, mine are not all identical, either. The finish (on the burnished bronze) looks hand-applied and isn't the same on every one. This doesn't bother me and I can't imagine anyone else ever noticing. I'm very pleased the the weighty, sturdy, roomy feel of the pulls.

I like #4 due to its simplicity. Another similar pull is Westerly by Amerock. I believe this is the one that's in the gorgeous kitchen by beekeeperswife. She used the pulls on drawers in combination with glass knobs on the cupboards, which is one way to add sparkle.

I also worried about not having enough sparkle without polished chrome or nickel but I've found that there's plenty of light reflecting off the faucet, refrig and other surfaces to keep the kitchen from looking dull. I'd worry that a polished chrome or nickel pull would show fingerprints too easily, but maybe I'm wrong about that.

Oh, sorry... I should have identified the pictures. The cabinet door style is Carlisle by Medallion, the hood is Kobe, and the faucet Price Pfister.

jean1967... I googled the Martha Stewart hardware and liked the selection. Thanks for sharing that and how they match with the Divinity color.

I like the "revitalize" pulls VERY much! I hadn't seen them in the longer versions, which I like the proportions of. But they do get a little expensive at the 8"/12" length, and I need 3 of those!

lazydaisynot... I love bee's kitchen! Funny, the Westerly is the one I liked the feel of a lot. I'll have to look at them again.

I agree about #4. As to appliance pulls, that depends on lots of other things like how many doors/drawers, how many handles, how many panels, etc.

I think your pull would be fine for a dishwasher. What else is getting panelled? Fridge? You can make a real statement with something fun or fancy for the fridge.

I have the "revitalize" by Amerock and have no issues with the quality at all. I've had them since September and they are still looking good. I have 16 of the pulls and 15 of the matching knobs with no problems. Mine were bought through Lee Valley.

I also like #4 best. If you go with chrome you may want to consider a chrome version of your faucet. I have chrome and ss in our kitchen and find the ss to be more difficult about fingerprints. The chrome cleans like a dream. I do like how it shines more too. It seems perkier.

Are you going to be using any knobs? If you are, do you prefer round or square? I chose the Amerock Westerly because there is a round knob in the collection which is chunky and simple. I really like them.

I ordered from AH Turf and they were ridiculously lower priced than any where. The 3" pulls are about $5.00 each at Lowes and I think I paid about $3.00 each for 5" on line. The knobs were $2.00 each. Absolutely no problem with AHturf.com. They offered the collection in all the different sizes and colors......totally user-friendly!

I do really like that Revitalize pull also, and I know I have seen it on a recent GW kitchen reveal. I love all your chunky choices!!!

As far as chrome vs nickle.... I'm a fan of the warmer nickel paired w creamy whites. The chrome just feels a bit harsh ( to me anyway)
I also have stainless appliances and went w polished nickel for my hardware. Is nice and shiney!
And I also have 4 different hardware styles going. everyone (ie DH & GC) has made comments about it. But I think it works. I will posts pics very soon. Just a few more days of hardware install & backsplash.

Ours are super similar (Rejuvenation's Mission D Pull, which is basically the Westerly), and the pulls in our old kitchen were like the Amerock pulls. I like simple, so I prefer 2/3/4 to 1, but that's just me. :)

We did polished nickel on creamy white and gray cabinets and it's great on both---but in retrospect I actually think we should have done polished chrome since it would have been a fun way to pull out the chrome faucet and the chrome on our stove. (We were mixing the pulls with latches and hinges that may or may not have come in chrome, though---can't remember!) But I like both nickel and chrome a lot. (We also have a Kobe hood, though it's the one that's flat vs. curved---it works fine with the nickel.)

We don't have appliance handles so can't help on that front, but we did wrestle with what to do for bigger drawers since our pulls only came in 3.5". In the end we just used the same pull throughout even where we'd have preferred a bigger pull---and after getting used to the kitchen, I've completely forgotten which drawers we even debated over. :) I think you could mix with appliance pulls similar to your oven or other non-paneled appliance handles if you can't get a matching pull, though.

Because the Westerly is high on my own list, I'm going to say those are my favorites. Love the simple, clean lines but they're not boring at all. Simply stylish is what I call 'em.

Of the first 4 you posted, I like #4 better. And I prefer polished to satin or brushed.

I really like the simplicity of the Westerly but have also spent a lot of time looking (online) at the Revitalize. The Revitalize looks like it would be so user-friendly with the arc shape making it easy to grab.

plllog... the only thing being paneled is a single dishdrawer (small kitchen!). I do have a 36" 2-drawer base which would preferably have a single wide pull instead of two pulls on each drawer.

dianalo and breezy... Hi! Gosh I am really starting to kick myself about not getting a chrome faucet. I drove my husband nuts right up until he installed this one! I am happy enough with the faucet considering it is a budget-friendly one. But it doesn't come in chrome.

breezy... I've read several of your posts elsewhere, and you're one of the reasons I've been second-guessing chrome! (I mean that in a complementary way!) But I am a little confused about your choice of Westerly since it only comes in satin nickel and graphite.

traceee... thanks so much for the tip! I will definitely look into that site. I like the matching round Westerly knob, too. The one that matches the #4 pull wouldn't look right in my kitchen, so this is a good suggestion.

celine... I didn't know about polished nickel until recently. You're right; it IS so pretty and warm. And I didn't realize you are so close to being done! It's going to be beautiful, can't wait!

If the drawer has a narrow recessed panel, you may want to hold a real life sample of the hardware up to the cabinet to make sure the hardware is "tall" enough - e.g. make sure you can get your fingers comfortably underneath to open it.

#2 and #4 are my favorite too. It is difficult to tell how they are different. I think #1 is is more decorative than your style (ie faucet) and #3 is a little more rounded-- not bad I think I just like the cleaner of #2 and #4 better.

I think I like #4 best, with #2 as my second pick. My Amerock knobs & pulls are satin chrome, and the finish is glowy. I can't wait to install them!

I used some #1's from Schaub, so please don't use them!
Schaub is an excellent manufacturer. The polished nickel finish is not no-maintenance; a "living" finish so-called.
But IMO it adds a lot of period charm

I said the westerly was high on my list. I haven't decided for sure because chrome was my first choice. After the cabs, marble, and hood go in then I'll see if nickel is out of the question. I can't tell from the pics of my hood the color exactly. It got kind of a brushed/nickely look. I just found out this morning that it'll be ready to ship this week.

I love the Westerly shape though! Simple usually wins the day for me.

breezy... How could I have forgotten about that amazing hood?! That makes sense you're waiting to coordinate everything. You must be so excited about it arriving. (Don't forget to check underneath the box... there have been a couple of incidents of forklift damage on GW that I remember.)
