Oil Rubbed Bronze facuet owners

Wishiwasinoz just brought up a good point to me about ORB faucets, and how the finish quickly wore off on their fairly new faucets.

Has this happened to anyone else? I did decide on the ORB Kholer Vinnata, and on orb door handles for the cabinets, but now am rethinking. Supposedly kholer changed the orb and it is a slightly different finish now,so maybe that will combat the finsih wearing off?

We used Kohler ORB faucets in a bathroom (sink and shower) 2 1/2 years ago and they haven't changed...still look good. We also used Schlage ORB door knobs at the same time and they still look the same, too.

I have two Moen ORB faucets that have been installed for about two years. Neither shows any signs of wear.

We put an ORB faucet in our powder room which gets a lot of use. It was relatively inexpensive one from Overstock, and it shows no sign of wear at all. And doesn't water spot in the least. Several people have asked where I got it. It's our favorite faucet in the house. Move over Moen and Delta.

Mico ORB faucet in kitchen for 4-5 years with no sign of wear. The finishes on some are "living" which mean they will change. My ORB egg doorknobs have lightened slightly on the edges, for example.

Ours have been in for a year now. We have Moen for the tubs, and Danze for the sinks. None look worn. They all look super with NO water spots, either. And we have well water.

We have a faucet with a "living" finish, and DH added a lot of "living" to it when he was using brass cleaner on some items I have and the handle is now shinier than the rest of the faucet...but it doesn't bother me any...I figure it's going to do a lot more changing over the years.
