When you say 33". you mean the inside measurement, right? Up until there I was with you. I have the Elkay Aquadivide 8" double bowl SS sink. It's a little over 16" front to back, and I do have a tip-out. But the inside width is more like 30.5". I wrote anyway, because if you want double bowl, the low divide is something to consider. Kohler, Elkay and Mirabelle all make them in different forms.

There are other options. You can get a sink that's wider than 16" on only one side and put the faucet on the narrower side just past the hump, or some people bump out in front of the sink. Either of those configurations allow room for a tip-out with a bigger sink.
