OT: Pic posting problem

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I've successfully posted my photos in a post before. Now, when I go to do it, the picture won't come up...just this icon that looks like it has a tear in it....I am able to open it in a new tab.

All I can see is that when I type in the whole image code, the computer is separating the img and src by sending the src and all else that follows onto a new line as if I had hit Enter.

Any thoughts? I'm on a mac (new to me) if that makes any difference.

Not sure, but I think you need to use the HTML code.

I put in all the codes I think I need....I cant retype it here because that icon will show up again....but the whole carrot - image abbreviation--space--src= thingy.... but when i hit the spacebar between the image abbreviation and src, it bumps src and all else that follows to the next line. I never had that happen before....I'm on a new mac and my old was a pc.

I do mine this way. They are housed on a photoshare site, so what type of computer they are uploaded with has no influence.
