pendant ideas ?

Hi
We are getting down to the wire and need to make choices!
We will have natural red birch cabinets with PA Soapstone counters. Floor tile in slate like porcelain - bluish grey, with cream, tan, (with bits of blackish). SS appliances.
We will have 2 small pendants over 58" peninsula and 1 over window.
Also will need a small/simple chandelier or single dropped fixture or drum light over dining table

We've looked at really simple ones like these:

but wonder if we need something with a little color?

The last time I looked, Lowe's stores had a surprisingly wide assortment of on trend lighting. I think it is safer to bring color in with textiles and accessories than fixtures. You may want to try some of these tips to be sure of your placement and sizing on those pendants. My gut reaction is more towards subtle on the lighting but I was starting to wonder about color.....
No pictures because nothing is in yet. He wanted us to pick the lights now so everything can get done when the electrician comes back next week. However, feels like it would be nice to have stuff in first to see how it looks......
