Help! We're trying to decide dark or light countertops with white cabinets! Suggestions?

    Do NOT get quartz. We did and after 18 months it is already chipping and we DON'T have kids! Go with granite tiles not slab. That way if there is a failure you can swap out a tile.

    We have had Silestone for over five years now. It looks as beautiful as when we first got it. Ours has not chipped like 3housesfull above mentioned.

    I installed white cabinets with dark grey quartz countertop a year ago and it is super easy to maintain and looks brand new! I love it and so does everyone who sees it!

    white cabinets matches ligt countertops. marble or granite coutertops water resistance and easy clean.
