Vinyl Floors-Photos/advice finding modern, linear styles please.

Nearing completion to update our kitchen but stuck on choosing flooring. Current floor is a very old vinyl & we are looking to replace with either a vinyl or linoleum that will work with the modern/contemporary design that will blend well with our "New Romano" granite countertop.

Looking for a nearly solid, even colored floor in a light taupe or "greige" color. Love the styles that really don't try to look like wood or stone, but are often described as a striated or linear design. (Try searching that and see what you get!)

So far, I really like, but am confused by these tiles from Mannington
Their residential "Adura Vibe" tile only comes in a couple of colors, but their commercial "Dissolve Collection" looks very similar, but in more colors. Have yet to check pricing on either.

I also really like the Congoleum Duraceramic Dimentions in color Glacier but think it's a little out of our budget.

Beaulieu's Bliss - Good Vibrations in color "unity" looks promising, but can't find any real photos of it installed.

I'm not stuck on these manufacturers, please share any advice to help me find any others in a similar style. I would love to see photos of these or similar installed? The more photos you all can post, the better please!

Here is a photo of one of the Mannington Commercial - Natures Path-Dissolve Collection tiles in color - Scatter. (too dark for me, but there are 6 colors total. Need to see the "recede" and "fade" samples.

Hope these get things started as well as help others looking for this style.

That stuff looks great in the pics.

Armstrong Alterna has several linen styles. It's a nice product--we used a quiet stone pattern in a bathroom.

Yesterday I saw an Armstrong LVT sample board of a very quiet taupe tile in 12 x 24". It's called Stained Concrete "Camois" aka Urban Promenade "Camel" and Oretta "Evening Glow"--different names for whoever is selling it. We saw it at Flooring America under the Oretta name. Here's a photo from their website.

Marmoleum Striato is a lot softer / blurrier, but it comes in a wide range of colors. It also comes in rolls if you prefer fewer seams. This photo shows it laid in a geometric pattern.

They have a solid line called Uni, but that only has 4 colors.

Sorry to have disappeared for a few days - my truck broke down.
Thanks MayFlower. That is a nice floor.
I do like the even color of the "quiet" stone tiles, but just haven't seen anything I like when I seen samples in person.
I'm really in love with this soft linear look... almost like a grass instead of wood look. Problem is...it's hard to find any photos of it installed online or I'm just not good at describing it.

Maxmillion - I was all set to love the marmoleum striato from seeing their site. I did bring a couple of samples home but they were all just a little off in color. On the right track though.

Someone else out there has to have used this style so hoping for photos. Any suggestions on where/how else to post for help with this, or with searching for "real" photos of this style. Google isn't much help for finding photos on blogs anymore.... I miss "discussion search".

In case this helps someone else, here's another nice linear tile I found by Centiva-Tandus - NS-7127-E Okara Tan.

    Did you try Houzz?

mine is much like the photo may flowers posted of an Armstrong floor. mine was in 12x36 planks. I love it. My pup can skid and slide all over it with damaging it. I let her test a 6x6 sample I laid out on the floor in her 'skid and slide' path.

    Have you considered linoleum?

Iroll - As mentioned already, I did consider linoleum and did love the Forbo Striato, the colors were just a little off .

Desertsteph - Can you please, please, please provide a photo or a link if you have one located somewhere else?

This is soooo frustrating. It's easy to search wood or stone looks....not so much when looking for a pattern that isn't trying to mimic something. Every manufacturer calls this style something different so I feel like there are others out there, but I may never see them without the hitting the right search terms.

I've linked to small homes where my flooring is posted. I don't think it's what you want tho. Not striations. They discontinued it at my Lowe's. Don't know if available thru Armstrong, but I haven't seen it on their website. It's 12 x 36 planks.
I do love it - it's very puppy 'nail' proof!
