You definitely need a high loop with a Bosch. Ask if draining into the disposal will affect how the sink drains when neither the dw or the disposer is in use.

Thanks Kitchendetective. He's gone now and I had him do what he suggested. There is a high loop. Having it drain into the disposal doesn't seem to impact the sink's drainage.

Doing what he suggested seemed to make sense. This time I was there to see it happen and stopped it in time. Next time, who knows? I couldn't stand living like that!

The only downside is that if and when we sell the house, and it comes up on an inspection, we might have to switch it back.
