I really like your ideas on the darker floors and re staining the logs! I think it's best to not draw the eye toward the walls but instead to the log work in a home like this, so I would paint the walls a neutral beige color to really make the logs stand out.

My family owns a large log cabin in the Northern Michigan. Why not consider a mossy grey color to show off the wood tones. I think real grey tones would make the wood finish more ashen. Try a roasted creamy color would also make the wood finishs more dramatic, too.

Log interiors by nature tend to be dark, so I would be inclined to leave the ceiling the light honey color with the richer mahogany color you are proposing for the floors. We have similar cedar ceilings and log accents and love the warmth of Benjamin Moore's Shaker Beige or Tyler Taupe.

Gorgeous! What a beautiful space! I would suggest a warm mocha, light tan color to show off the wood, but not be overwhelming. Please post pictures after the painting is done!
