Your space is confusing me a bit. The red room I'm guessing is the kitchen. The living room is a lr/dr combo. Yet there seems to be a space behind the futon and a hutch or piano of sorts.

From what I can see the TV would be best mounted on the wall between the windows where the chaise portion of the sectional is. Then the sofa swung around facing the TV . The trend now is to use 2 wing back chairs in the dining room they would be far easier to move about your space when you had company and open it up when there was none. Selecting a print fabric for the chairs that would work with your wall colors and also with the beige would tie the visible rooms together.

Another suggestion, if you do not plan to repaint the rooms entirely, is to tone down the stark white trim in favor of a softer off white/light beige. The pure white of the trim is not working with the beige/khaki tones as unfortunatly it tends to make the beige look dirty.
