Hi! I'm looking for some advice for a kitchen/breakfast area in a home we just bought. We are putting down dark wood flooring to flow from the family room. Already bought stainless steal appliances. To keep costs down we are thinking to have someone paint/stain the cabinets instead of replacing them. I was thinking dark but would that make the kitchen seem smaller? What color should I do? I definitely wanted to go with a lighter color contertop, maybe in granite or quartz. Any suggestions? Backsplash ideas? Lighting? Chandeliers? Drum? How can I tie in the breakfast area? I don't like anything traditional. I don't really like warm but cool colors. Please help me with your ideas! Thank you so much!
