I am looking to purchase four good pieces (a sofa and 3 chairs) for our living room. I want GOOD furniture-in other words, I don't want to shop for furniture for another 20 years! I have heard Ethan Allen has quality classic furniture, but they are not in-town, and the price seems a bit high. I have learned I should be looking for kiln-dried, 8 way hand-tied. Does anyone have any experience with the King Hickory brand OR Norwalk brand or would highly recommend another brand that falls into the "lasts forever" (or as close to forever as I can get) department?
