What is involved UNDER the tiling, the pan?

Does waterproofing (the pan or some other form of waterproofing) have to extend out into the rest of the bathroom? Presuming the glass door goes all the way to the floor, with a sweep under it, and the floor of the shower slopes away from the shower door, is there any need for further waterproofing outside the shower?

Unfortunately, the general contractor on the job took care of all of that, so I can't answer your question. If you show the picture to any qualified contractor or tile installer, I am certain they will be able to answer your question.

Hi Regina. Can you please tell us about the partition dividing the room? It appears to be an accordian door. I'd love to know good options for closing off a room when needed although that space typically needs to be left open. Thank you kindly. Pat and Emily Brown of www.ChristianCondos.net

Did Regina Kurtz every answer your question about the partition door?

It is not an accordian door. The material used to fabricate the partition is from a company called 3Form. The panel hangs from a recessed track and goes into a pocket within the wall.
