    I believe the wall above it is more buttery. There is definitely a different color.

    Yes, it is definitely two different colors. I am wondering though if there is a wood panel behind the face framing of the wainscoting or if that is the actual wall that was just painted white to match the woodwork.

    The top is an election molding. Panels are 1/4" plywood with a panel molding. Hope that helps.
