How do you combine finishes without changing all hardware?

15 year old home- I have a newly painted white kitchen that needs cabinet and drawer pulls. There are brass door fixtures in the vicinity of the space. The appliances will all be upgraded to stainless.
Is there an alternative drawer/cabinet pull that could compliment these different finishes so that I don't have to replace all the brass in the house? This house is being readied for resale and I would like to keep my costs down as much as possible.

What do you think about bronze as an alternative finish for this kitchen?

Do not be concerned about the brass door finishes - I think you mean bright brass door knob and hinges? Go with what you think looks good with the new kitchen - maybe brushed nickel to reflect the stainless, or chrome if your new faucet is chrome. It is a new kitchen in an older home - happens all the time.
