My house is full of old things that I've hoarded over the years: design materials, clothes, shoes, sentimentals, etc. I now have an extra room (my old room) since my brother and his wife moved out into their new house (and I moved into their room). However, I just stick all my old stuff in the old room and stuff is piling up. My cat also does her business in that room. I've created a floor plan placing the furniture in strategic places to hide the litter box and make each corner/section have a specific function. Any ideas how to improve the layout and any cheap DIY solutions I could use to declutter my space?
