I am going crazy trying to find a comfortable dining chair that isn't made in China but that also isn't so expensive that I have to mortgage the house to buy it. I know the quality is great for manufacturers like Hickory White, but I can't afford this. My current dining chairs are only 3 years old, were very comfortable when I bought them, have had little use but the foam is now crushed and the chairs will have to be given away -- made in China! There has to be a middle ground between junk chairs and very expensive chairs. Ideas . . . anyone?
