Can you possibly post a picture that will enlarge? It's a bit hard see the details from the street

I think the house looks fine from the smallish picture, perhaps replacing the screen door with something more updated would help.

I would recommend maybe putting in a flower bed along both sides of the walkway and maybe two skinny taller plants at the end.... Just a thought.

I think you have a great start with the rocks on the left. The right side is your problem, It needs a tree and shrubs to add interest and soften the house. Curving the sidewalk and adding mound or two for it to curve around with edge plantings spaced along the way. Light this with solar lights (less expensive) or low voltage lights will guide guest gracefully to the front door. Which by the way should be painted with a pop of color to bring attention to it. Start with these ideas from the least expensive up to the more involved. This will inspire some ideas of your own along the way. Have fun and think outside the box. Make it say this is who we are and welcome to our home.

Add a progression of heights to your foundation plants, which should not be closer than one foot from the house when mature. Add one vertical plant to either side of the far right window.
