Hi,

Do these come with soffits and what is the diameter. I need three pendants with soffits under four inches.

Hi Lisa, this one comes with a plug-in cord and is for indoor use only (sorry, no soffit included). I do offer a hard-wired version of this light with a 5' canopy; please let me know if you would like more information.

does it come with an on/off switch anywhere on it or the cord?

Yes, the Plug-in cord lamp comes with an inline on/off switch about 3 feet from the plug. The Hard-wire version of the lamp wires into your ceiling, so would be turned on and off with the connected light switch.
