My house was built in 1923, wood frame and windows. It has the original wood windows with the original rope pulley system (many of which have broken rope). I recently saw a renovation of a older structure and they kept the original windows but updated the pulley system to a metal pulley that looked similar to a bike chain.

So question is; do you know where or how I could update my windows in the same manner?
