A fan of Shasta daisies?

I've tried a number of Shasta daisies over the years but all have had their drawbacks. This one ("Becky") is a beauty.The blooms are a beautiful clear white and contrast superbly with the dark-green foliage. Has been flowering for six weeks now and,judging by last year,will continue well into the Autumn. Great cut flower. Grows 3-4 feet high.

Hi there Brenton... Your daisies are so pretty and cool looking.
I love daisies but sadly they act like annuals here.
Just keel over and die after that first season.

I dug up a bed yesterday,was loaded with snails,tried to get some Shasta,such a nice photo Brent,they are so healthy,regards greencroc.

I must try some of the different types. Mine was started from a piece given to me years ago. It is still growing well but only flowers for about 2 weeks. Yours is so pretty and much taller than mine.

Do u know how to trim Shasta daises during summer to maximize reblooming ?

Do u trim the deadheads off at the first nodes at the top of the stems or further down by the base, or is there another way?
