I saw that episode...loved it! I see we are very close in zones...what I think about is this...I put up a ton of food every year between canning, freezing and dehydrating..I basically have everything I need to get me through a winter and well into the next summer..so the only benefit this would be to me would be for fresh greens...right?
I grow, and harvest fresh green sprouts all winter..I just don't see an advantage for me in my zone...do you see one?
I see this advantageous to people with short growing seasons or maybe very limited space. Any thoughts?

Depends if you like the tasteless greens available at your local superstore or if you want flavorful and pesticide free greens.
Keep in mind that Coleman also is a market gardener and supplies a local market all winter there in Maine.
