Hi Valli and welcome, I'm in Nanaimo just a ferry ride away from you. I haven't grown geraniums in years but my neighbor does. She just brings them in keeps them close to a window in a cooler room for the winter, hers get pretty big too. Hopefully your babies will come back and look just as good or better then they do in your picture. The entrance to your home is charming and looks very inviting.
Seeing yours makes me think I just might just like to try a few again come spring. Oooops forgot, I did pick up a few ivy geraniums at a end of the season clearance for .49 each, they're wintering in the greenhouse, plan to take cuttings in the spring and make up a few baskets.

Hi, Valli. Your front porch is absolutely lovely! I am in love with your pink door! The flowers and table next to the log animals (horses?) look wonderful. I am so sorry about your geraniums, but from the looks of it, you have the touch{{gwi:807}} and will soon have more growing huge again. I only have one pathetic little one that I brought in, but it is such a wonderful pink that I hate leaving it out to die. Maybe it will grow bigger if I repot it this year. You have inspired me!

Edited to add: I showed my DH your picture and said, "wouldn't it be fun to have a pink door?" He immediately came up with the idea that I could paint the garage door out to the garden that color! Now, I cannot wait for spring!!!ðÂÂÂðÂÂÂð¸ðº. Hope I can find a similar pink.

Love the door color as well as your geraniums! They complement each other perfectly! My mom also over winters her geraniums and they were huge last year. She also has them next to the front door.

This is the first year I'm over wintering mine. Hopefully they will make it. They are in an unheated room. Good luck with your geraniums!
