These are all hardy Geraniums and will survive winters far harder than a single hard freeze. They would not be expected bloom between now and fall planting. They bloom in late Spring/Summer. Just watch and wait and they'll be up and flourishing in the Spring. No need to water in Winter unless your ground is absolutely parched. I can't comment on whether they'll need watering in Summer as I don't know your climate. Certainly in mine once planted and watered in they'd never be watered again.

I'm zone 8b San Antonio TX - mild winters, very hot summers. We've had pretty good rain, so haven't done any supplemental watering - it rained, then got really cold and most stuff froze.

It's Winter. Geranium leaves just do that when under stress - cold, dry, old age.
