ive never had one, the fruit looks much longer, like a torpedo, and has ridges...

Yeah, my first guess would be Broadleaf too - a guy in Australia raised them, and my understanding is that's where everyone in our country got them from.....I've got a couple myself having a tough time this winter, however....

Hi Thanks for the help! I live in Singapore and its very hot here... so I moved it to the shade and it survives and fruits..
I don't see any insects pollinating it so folks with winter could bring this plant indoors and enjoy fruit all year round.

Only the first fruit had seeds, after that the rest of the fruits
are seedless.

often you get seedless fruit when there is no pollination.

they said anything you can do to keep the plants cool, do it.

spray water, shade, etc...

at certain temps, growth shuts down completely, he said.

depending on the type of plant.

papaya was one in the study, i forgot the exact temp though.

when it gets over 90F the leaves start to droop

i spray them with water, and they perk up again.
