I recommend Contrast Lighting for a wide variety of recessed lighting and various trim styles which can change the look and the function of the lights depending on which room you're doing and what lighting effect you want to achieve. Lutron makes some beautiful outlet/switch/dimmer styles and you can get them in lots of colours and finishes for a very beautifully co-ordinated look.

You're very welcome, Beth. Depending on what material your kitchen backsplash is, you might consider one of the metallic finishes for outlets and switches there. I've done that before, and it's so much nicer than the usual style you see everywhere. Best of luck on your project :)
