Ready to start a 'chair blankie' for my son. It's all been washed, pressed and is ready to go. No 'pattern' selected yet, but something rather simple: one block with three bands of 3 fabrics, next block a single fabric. I'm starting with the big picture which is really a pillow case that I'll cut out. There will be blocks above, below, and at least one width of blocks on either side of the picture. Oh, and tho it's hard to see, the small print in the upper right is tiny little 'yellow jackets'.

Do I have too many fabrics/designs, etc going on? The chevron I had planned to use as a very narrow border somewhere because it really IS busy! The back will be black minky for the cozy...son's request.
