natural shaker cherry cabinets

I have shaker natural cherry kitchen cabinets, uba tuba granite counters, flooring is simulated slat tile in 18x18" squares color is in shades of greens & browns mixed in. I thought a soft not quite pastel green would work which is the same as the living room. Painted the kitchen but the color just doesn't work for me. Any suggestions on a color that will work & go with the living room color as well . I have a pass thru 86" by 58" & you can see the entire living room from the kitchen & 50-60 % of the kitchen from the living room. please help-fustrated

We used Sherwin Williams Unusual Gray for our natural cherry with soapstone counters. It looks green (most of the time, depending on the light).

Pictures help with better ideas.

However, how about a warm tan, as in no grey. But maybe their is a greige out there that could work.

There are many that post here in Kitchens that also post in the Home Decorating Forum, but you might get even better advice cross posting over there.

I have natural cherry cabinets with seafoam granite (green with some brown). I used BM Aura in Everlasting on the walls. It looks great with the green in my countertops as well as the cherry cabinets. It is very neutral and doesn't compete with the other elements in the room.

Look at BM grey owl. It's a fantastic grey neutral with subtle green undertones. It may work really well in your space .

In our former house we had natural cherry shaker cabinets with Blue in the Night granite that reads black. The small amount of walls in the kitchen were BM Powell Buff as was the adjoining family room and dining room.

I have natural cherry cabinets and verde peacock granite ( which is very similar to Uba Tuba). I used BM's Hillcrest Tan #1078 in my kitchen and dining area. I like the way it brings out the gold/brown splotches in the counter and I think it plays nice with the pale green colors my backsplash tile and my dining table{{gwi:807}}. I think the wall color also makes the natural cherry look fabulous.
It is very hard to capture the color adequately with my camera. In the first picture the color is pretty acurate. The bumped out area to the right in the photo is actually painted BM Capilano Bridge. It is only a shade or two lighter than Hilllcrest Tan but looks much lighter in the picture because of the bright morning sun. I am posting the second picture to show how it looks with the pale greenish color of the dining table and chairs{{gwi:807}} cushions.

I have natural cherry cabinets and Mesquite granite (light, but green tones). Our walls are SW Wheatgrass. I would have never picked this, but we get nothing but compliments. Probably wouldn't work if the next room is a different green, but here you go just to see...

Still have to finish painting. This horrible pic is the only pic with decent lighting on the wall color and cabinets.
