We are in a bit of a dilema. We chose cabinets that are "creamy white" and a beautiful granite called "Super White" from Brazil. The cabinets are not white (now wish they were) and the granite has mostly lighter gray and a little bit of white throughout. We are having trouble finding the right backsplash so the color from the cabinet and granite don't clash or compete with each other (as there is white and creamy white). We originally thought a type of white carrara would look nice and it doesn't. We love the subway tile look and have looked extensively but just can't seem to find the right color match/style. We looked at some Ann Sacks beveled subway tiles and was unsuccessful. We are looking at Pratt and Larson watercolors gray line and found a crackled tile that might be a possibility. Problem is there is some flows of white in the tile and I'm nervous it will clash with the creamy white cabinets. Do we go with a grayish subway tile or more of a creamy white tile? If we go with a creamy white tile, won't this clash with the granite? Anyone have creamy white cabinets but your countertop has some white in it and what tiling did you use?
