My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Are these white oak or red oak floors?

    These floors are white oak 3 1/4- 3 1/2 planked hardwood floors.

    White Oak is ideal for on site custom finishing. It has less reds and pinks to contend with during the stain selection. A good choice all around.

    Unfortunately I have red oak hardwoods but am looking to achieve a similar color to this. I hate the redish/pink tones but it's not in the budget to replace 1,500 feet of hardwood :(

    I would suggest trying to us a little bit more Ebony in which ever stain you are looking at to kind of balance the natural red tones of the wood. Good luck as I'm sure they will turn out beautifully:)
