    The Wall Flats have not been tested for acoustical properties but the opposing angles and material compensation can provide benefit in this area.

    Generally tile is hard and reflects sound. If the goal is to spread sound around the room the tiles indicated are appropriated. As the previous poster noted uneven surfaces prevent sound bouncing in parallel lines and projects sound more evenly. This can also be achieved by eliminating parallel walls. If the space is too "live" or echo-ey tile is not a good choice. Carpet and soft materials absorb sound.
