quick advice needed - fridge build in question

installing a panel ready subzero

to left of the fridge there seemed to be just enough space to fit a 4" broom closet

cabinet guy just called me to say that this space was there assuming one style of install in which the doors of the fridge are not actually flush with the front of the cabinetry.

he said that because we're doing full-overlay rather than inset, this is what he had planned for

but if we want the doors to actually be flush, than the fridge cabinet needs to be made a bit wider to allow the doors to swing open. that means we lose the space for the broom closet

so...what would you all do?

flush doors/no broom closet

or doors stick out a few inches/yes to broom closet

argh. i like neither option.

trying to find images of what it looks like with doors not flush...if you want to share, please post pic

thanks
