My husband is a contractor and is building our cabinets (after three years of a "temporary" cobbed together kitchen) We were all set to use latex paint until I saw your beautiful kitchens . We have a gallon of high quality tung oil that my husband thought might work as the clear coat.

This was a cream color from The Real Milk Paint Company. I don't use tung oil but that is an excellent sealer for milk paint...as long as it is given sufficient time to dry. These are beautiful! I was thinking of painting my 1990's oak cabinets an off white, just like this. Do you need to purchase the milk paint directly from the sight, or is it available at a store, like Lowes or Home Depot?
