Yes. I specialize in milk paint finishes. Some clients like a patina like an old, worn cabinet but others prefer a cleaner, finished look...but its all milk paint.

The milk paint is sealed with a modern, clear coat finish designed for kitchen cabinetry.

Thank You! Would you mind sharing what you use for a clear coat finish...and what color milk paint was used in this picture? My husband is a contractor and is building our cabinets (after three years of a "temporary" cobbed together kitchen) We were all set to use latex paint until I saw your beautiful kitchens . We have a gallon of high quality tung oil that my husband thought might work as the clear coat.

    Millie,

This was a cream color from The Real Milk Paint Company. I don't use tung oil but that is an excellent sealer for milk paint...as long as it is given sufficient time to dry. Try realmilkpaint.com for more information on sealing milk paint. Their site is an excellent source of information. Good luck!

These are beautiful! I was thinking of painting my 1990's oak cabinets an off white, just like this. Do you need to purchase the milk paint directly from the sight, or is it available at a store, like Lowes or Home Depot?

You should purchase milk paint from a manufacturer or a retailer that carries their paint. See previous comment.
