We have oil rubbed bronze throughout the house with stainless appliances. I decided to go with black cabinet hardware but I also have dark cabinets. For cabinet hardware you need to go with what you like the best you will see it every day. It might look nice to go with something darker since you have a lot of light colors in the kitchen and the darker hardware would stand out. The nickel with black would be a good meet in the middle one.

I had a hard time finding pulls and handles for our kitchen.

I looked and looked.

So, I brought home a whole bag of knobs and pulls.

The ones I loved in the store did not work at all.

The ones that looked the best were the ones I included because they were on clearance.

What I am saying is that it is hard to know what will look best unless you try a lot of different ones.

I see stainless appliances in my kitchen as neutral.

"Be sure to check out some hardware in the newly trending "modern brass" or Brilliance Brushed Bronze" or who know what its being called to erase our memories of bright brass!! You just dumped a ton of money on some very beautiful finishes (love, love your marble mosaic) and you want to be sure not to select anything that's soon to trend out. What finish is the faucet? I think this is more of a consideration that the appliances, which I agree with Jennifer, those are neutral. You will find faucets in the newer finishes, maybe not at Home Depot, but better retailers will be showing these trending colors!
